This year the Ganapathy at Thrissur is being celebrated on a larger scale as compared to previous years.
The festival started with a Grand Ganapathy Homam.
The Ganapathy is being Celebrated at Vadakkumnathan Temple as well as Poomkunnam.
The added attractions are the big cut outs idols&decorations in the Bombay Style.
This year the significance it appears is the Ganapathy Coinciding with Onam.Although Pooram is the biggest festival in Thrissur the Ganapathy is also of no lesser importance.
