Recently a research team on environment found a beautiful species of Butterfly in the region of Western Ghats This Butterfly is called " Blue Nawab " by the researchers team called" Warblers& Waders" headed by Shri C.Sushant. The other members of the team deeply involved in research over Western Ghats are KA.Kishore,Baiju& Biju. They claim that they saw the rare Blue Nawab on the Rock formation of either sides of a stream Deep in the Forest. They also claim the " Blue Nawab" is extremely rare & sighting it itself is a very rare event.they ,however ,could Not find any egg inspire keeping repeated vigil for the butterfly to appear.they had sighted the same Butterfly in The year 2010 also The Host Tree for this Butterfly is a plant called " Kattu Mandaram" . The Blue Nawab is so beautiful with it's Black wing.the Upper portion of the wing is blue in color. In between there is a pure white patch which makes the Butterfly extremely beautiful& easy to trace according to the This could be welcome news for the children of Future in India& Kerala SreedharanMundanat 18th April 2013 The research on this butterfly was earlier conducted as back as in 1896 at Coorg by BritishReseachers J.Davison,TR.Bell& EH.Aitken. The Research team headed by Shri Susanth claim that this is the first time A life cycle is established for this Rare Butterfly in Kerala. The Team is planning to report their discovery to the Journal of Bombay Natural History Society & other similar International Journals.
