England Flop to place Newzealand on Top

The first cricket Test Match between the touring England as guests & New Zealand as hosts turned into a Ghost Affairs as far as England was concerned when the Test staged at Dunedin on 6th of March2013 to be played until 10th of March. At present In the ICC Rankings of Test cricket South Africa is on top followed by England,Australia& India. NewZealand is placed at the 8th position in the Rankings. England being the number two in Test Rankings& New Zealand in the 8th position ,one can not blame the Team captained by Alistair Cook becoming a bit overconfident outfit. New Zealand knowing their position down below in Rankings, decided to make use of Ball first instead of bat when they won the Toss. England was so happy to bat first since batting first in Test Cricket is believed to be more advantageous by all cricket playing Nations. This is so because by putting up a formidable big total on board first, there is every possibility of exerting pressure on the Team batting Second. After having got a chance to bat first, the well balanced Team of CaptainCook aimed at building up a big score beyond the expectation of NewZealand. But then,Man proposes God disposes. This saying was true in toto in the case of England. Alistair Cook & Compton began with confidence. But NRD Compton was the first to walk back to the Pavilion cursing himself with a big zero against his name when the score was just 5 runs on the Board.Captain Cook followed him shortly with an individual contribution of 10 runs when the score card read 18 runs on Board. The former was clean bowled by Southee& the laterCaught by Rutherford b Wagner. Captain Cook while in India had dominated the batting with Ton after ton.it was a sorrowful sight to watch him walking back to Pavilion with head down. Thereafter it looked as though a procession of surrendering wickets & returning to pavilion batsman after batsman. None could cross the 50 mark. The top scorer was IJL Trot with a well earned 45 runs in the circumstances. The Top Batsman of of England Kevin Pietersen again fell for a duck. The remaining Batsmen followed suit .IRBell 24,JERoot4,Prior23,Trot24,Broad10,Finn20,& Anderson23. Monte Panesar who dominated Bowling with his peculiar Spin In India ,however, remained NOT OUT. THE FINAL SCORE OF First Innings of England read a Paltry 167 runs in Just 55 overs. The NewZealand Bowlers BPMartin& NWagner shared 4 wickets each by conceding 43&42 runs respectively. The NewZealanders in reply ,on the second day on 7th March 2013 managed 131 Runs on board without any loss of Wickets .The batsmen at the crease with a dominating performance are HDRutherford with an unbeaten77&PGFulton on46 runs at stumps. This being so ,the NewZealanders with the NewZealanders with BrendonMcCullum,Tailor,Williamson,BrowNlie are yet to follow,England looks under threat of being lowered in the rankings if NewZealand Continue to dominate the way they did yesterday& today& in the remaining Tests to follow. This is the reason why the game of Cricket is being called "the Glorious Game of Uncertainty" Let us awaith the outcome of this match as well as the advantage the Islanders are likely to derive being the hosts to stage the remaining Test matches.
